Darling of the week:

Phoenix.

'Cause the new album is the best thing that could possibly come out of France. The title itself earns credits for creativity.

June 25:

Ever wanted to remix Placebo? Here's your official chance to: go to theirspace and klick the GoMix-Widget. You can save your finished works and have oll the others listen to it.

June 15:

Finally updated some gossip in the music news: a dizzing Trent Reznor, nothing so new from Peter Doherty, an over-ambitious Jack White, the sunshine in the cigarette-smoke-grey model business Beth Ditto and thoughts about (caution: wordplay) finally smashing the Pumpkins.

May 28:

Listen to Placebo's new album "Battle for the Sun" (only May 29 till
May 31), all you have to do is sign up at Placebo's homepage and you will get a code with which you can play the album from start to finish
5 times.

May 25:

Friends, there's a White Rabbit around, download Ash's new single for free here:

And you can pre-order the limited vinyl single here. Hot stuff!

May 22:

Interactive music video - a new way of promoting new material or really involving fans creativly? Well, figure it out yourself. "I've seen enough" from the Cold War Kids is online, with every band member filmed separately doing their parts, and now you can klick them on or off during the song as much as you like. If it's neither promotion nor fan-involvement, at least it's fun seeing the guys bore their minds out when they are klicked out of the game! ;-)

May 18:

I like this title: "Abnormally Attracted To Sin". It's the name of Tori Amos' 10th album and it's out since May 15. You can have a listen here and pre-order a special edition + bonus DVD. And even more special: until May 24 you can watch a video of Tori playing an exclusive FM4 radiosession at the Radiokulturhaus in Vienna!
The woman looks like a fragile red haired elfin from Middle Earth, I can't stop looking at her...

May 5:

Here is a stream of Green Day's new album "21st Century Breakdown", and there are more new songs from Maximo Park on their myspace!

It's official: Franz Ferdinand announced the release dates for their first single "Ulysses" (16.1.) and the new album (23.1.)!

Think of England

November 4:

Needless Liam Gallagher quotes nobody needs. (Really, this guy talks crap!)

October 15:

I'm very sorry to say, but I find that whole Oasis-Tralala the last few weeks so very annoying...I really lost interest in listening into the new album. It's always the same...grumpy beardy guys pissing off other bands and finding themselves so god-like...I get scabious eruptions only thinking of it. I want Blur back!

What makes me a little more happy is the announcement that Lord Dave gets a street named after him today! Some clever people (radio DJ Fast Freddie and local police officer Joe O'Grady) have made the persons in charge of Warren, Ohio, rename Market Alley into 'Dave Grohl Alley'.

And finally...
