It's been months of keeping fingers crossed, praying and being patient, now it finally seems to work out! You've probably heard about the first announced Hyde Park gig from Blur on July 3 sold out within 15 seconds. Now there's a new date, July 2, Hyde Park as well, in additon. I don't have tickets yet, but 2009 seems to become the best year ever!! The only thing missing now is a tour. And a new album. And one of the guys talking clearly about all this. I'm really sick of all this back and forth in the media, all rumours and urban legends. We want Blur back!

Gallagher said the only bands he was following at the moment are Kasabian, who
will support Oasis on their 2009 UK stadium tour, and the Arctic Monkeys.
“The band that I like at the moment is Kasabian. They've got it; they've got
the look, the tunes, they say just the right amount of stuff, they don't
fucking rub it and rub it and rub it,” he said.
“I like them and the Arctic Monkeys are great, but they're not rock stars.”
Comment: I agree with Kasabian in some way. But I guess, you've just heared too much Arctic Monkeys with your kids, man. A grown up beardy man does not like Arctic Monkeys without being made fun of. Ask Josh Homme!
And who the hell asked you anyway? Who are you to tell us what's good and what's not, you ignorant little bastard? There are much more good bands out there at the moment, you're just too arrogant to listen. Are you afraid someone could kick you off your high throne?

Foo Fighters are not very happy about Mr. McCain. Well, yes, a lot of people aren't, but that's a special case here: The guy used their song "My hero" for his presidential campaign without asking permission. Man, you proofed again how much unused space there's left in your head, otherwise you wouldn't mess with guys like the Foo Fighters! We hope you're at least man enough to apologize...

Wolfmother as we know it - are over. That's what their management announced today on their myspace-profile. They just couldn't get working together anymore. Singer Andrew Stockdale is looking for replacement to finish the new Wolfmother-album, Myles Heskett and Chris Ross are working on a new project. Read the full explanation here.

Franz Ferdinand still torture us with the release date of album Nr.3- it's postponed again. We have to wait at least six more months. If you ask me, there should be something like a fine for this. Aerogramme, who announced their break-up last year, are about to release an incredible Fan-Vinyl-Box. Including the "Glam Cripple EP", "White Paw EP", "A Story In White", "Sleep And Release", "Livers And Lungs" and their last album "My Heart Has A Wish That You Would Not Go".
The Ting Tings new single, "Shut Up And Go", is going to be the new musical background for an Ipod commercial. Let's hope we don't see it too often and get rid of the song soon...
Nick Cave has written a whole book about his latest song "Dig!!! Lazarus, Dig!!!". It's 60 pages full with the story of his thoughts about, work on and feelings for the song and will be available via amazon from July 8!

Damon Albarn announces a new album release for upcoming July (if everything works out well)! He's currently working on the record with an 80 people Chinese choir and a complete orchestra. Regarding to Albarn the record has something to do with the Opera "Monkey: A Journey To The West" he composed lately. But we should not expect an opera thing on CD (I keep the 'thank god' to myself...)!
